Both live and recorded daytime video was a bit too dark as well, even though the lighting environment was fairly bright. And the camera's black-and-white night vision was soft, but the infrared LEDs did a good job of supplying adequate light. Taking an ECG reading at the right time is far more useful than randomly performing these measurements.
Your weight will be shown almost instantly, and after a couple of seconds the scale will cycle through your elected stats. There’s no need to select a user ID before weighing; the scale will recognize you based on your body composition, and your name will appear on the display to confirm this. Standing on the scales with bare feet activates a small electrical change that travels through your body.

The ScanWatch covers all the same metrics as other fitness devices, including step count, elevation, calories burned, sleep tracking, and so forth. It automatically tracks activities, too, such as when you’re running or swimming. While these data points are somewhat advanced metrics, the only one feature that is unique to the ScanWatch is its breathing disturbance alert. Many other devices, such as the Garmin Venu and the Fitbit Charge 5, merely tell you if your oxygen saturation level dipped at any point during the night and highlight that data point on a graph. All of them convey the same information, but Withings draws your attention to it.
The beautiful design, great app functionality, seamless live stream , quality night mode, plus good all-round performance make this the smart home camera to beat compared to the competitors we have seen. In Do Not Disturb mode, the camera records events but you won’t be sent any notifications to your smartphone. This allows the Home to produce timelapse videos of the past 24 hours, giving you a neat look back at what happens in your house over the course of the day. The app equips you with the ability to view a journal containing video footage and sound clips of any activity that took place in your home when you were out. You can even view the air quality at the precise moment the motion was detected. Tapping on any measurement will reveal a more detailed chart of your changing body composition over time.
The ScanWatch consistently reported significantly fewer steps per day and per walk (sometimes 20% fewer) compared with the Venu. It's difficult to say which watch is more accurate, but I have high confidence in the Garmin device because I've worn it for several months without incident. I might have had better success if the instructions in the app better explained that I needed to touch the top metallic part of the watch's case with my fingers to complete a circuit.
